This Saturday morning, Spanish World Cup Champions Andres Iniesta, David Villa, and Fernando “El Niño” Torres faced off in the second week of the J. League in Japan. Vissel Kobe in their first home match faced off against Sagan Tosu.

Following their winning years with the Spanish National Soccer Team, it was time for all three of them to face off in Japan. Andres Iniesta and David Villa on the Vissel Kobe side with Fernando Torres in front for Sagan Tosu.

Vissel Kobe managed to take the three points with a goal scored by former New York City FC player David Villa. A long ball from Leo Osaki from his half was slightly headed away by Yuji Takahashi, that bounced off from his teammate who placed the ball perfectly in front of David Villa. With his goalscoring experience, he would beat the keeper in the 1v1 battle to score the opening and only goal of the match to give Vissel Kobe the three points.

Later, David Villa on his Twitter page shared the following tweet with all of his followers:

Vissel Kobe will visit Nagoya Grampus Eight for the Emperor’s Cup this following Wednesday with hopes that their star players can outshine those lead by former Corinthian’s Player Jo.
