Match Preview: Sevilla vs Barcelona

The Spanish Super Cup this edition will be different. Not too long ago was announced by the Spanish Federation that it will be held as a one-game championship game, in Tanger, Morocco.

The previous match between both sides was back in April for the Copa del Rey Final. In a very emotional match, where it was Iniesta’s last game for Barcelona. The Catalans saw their side victorious by a large margin of 5-0. Goals coming from Messi, Coutinho, Iniesta, and Suarez scoring twice.

This game will be very different, new faces all around both squads will sure give a different view of the game. These new signings sure will be given time to play.

Possible Lineups:

Barcelona: (4-3-3)

Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Arthur, Busquets, Rafinha; Messi, Suarez, Coutinho.

Sevilla: (3-4-3)

Vaclik; Mercado, Kjaer, Gnagnon; Navas, Mesa, Banega, Escudero; Sarabia, Ben Yedder, Nolito.

Regardless of who plays, this ought to be an exciting match between these two, especially with their recent encounters where they have not disappointed.

As always, may the best win but my prediction of the score is Sevilla 1-3 Barcelona.
